About Us

Our Story

Belle Haven Events was born from our shared love of creating meaningful moments and beautiful spaces.

We met in California and later made the move to Minnesota, bringing with us creative backgrounds shaped by storytelling, entertainment, and design. Katlynne's journey began in entertainment, working in acting and modeling, where she discovered a passion for hosting and creating experiences that bring people together. What started as a love for gathering quickly grew into an appreciation for the details that make moments feel truly special.

Chris, a professional video editor, stepped in to help with a few events along the way. Through capturing and supporting those experiences, he found joy in being part of the process, helping turn ideas into lasting memories and watching meaningful moments unfold in real time.

Together, we realized we shared the same vision: helping others create a beautiful space where memories are made. That vision became Belle Haven, with "Belle" meaning beautiful, and "Haven" representing a place of warmth, comfort, and celebration.

As we continue to grow, we're building toward a dream of opening our own venue, one that reflects the same care, creativity, and intentional design we bring to every event today. Until then, we bring the Belle Haven experience wherever your celebration takes place, creating spaces that feel welcoming, elevated, and unforgettable.

At every step, our goal is simple: to create moments that feel beautiful, personal, and truly yours.

Our Vision for the Future

Our dream has a shape now: a wedding venue of our own, on a piece of land where we can put down real roots. Not only a place we run, but a place we build our life around, with our own home on the same ground where we help other couples begin theirs.

We want to build something that lasts, something we pour our whole hearts into and can one day pass down to our family. Every wedding we're part of makes us more sure this is it. We love the couples, we love the work, and there's honestly no better feeling than hearing that a day we gave everything to went off without a hitch. Somewhere along the way we realized this is where we belong: in the room, present for it all, doing what we're built for.

We don't know every detail of what it will look like yet, and that's part of the excitement. What we know is the heart of it: a place, and a family, built around bringing people together for the moments that matter most. Until then, we bring that same devotion to every celebration we're trusted with, wherever your day takes place.

If I could give them 100 stars I would!!! Wow I cannot recommend Katelynne and Chris enough!!!! Seriously they were a dream team. I hired them for both my rehearsal and my day of coordinating, and I am so happy that I did !!!! They were both so easy to talk to and were happy to answer all of my random last-minute questions!!! My wedding day was a breeze with them!! They even make a priority for you and your new husband to have a quiet 15 minutes together after the ceremony before the rest of the day. It was really special of them to do that Every little detail I could think of was handled without a second thought. It's like they were able to read my mind and set up everything just like I had imagined!!!!!!! SUCH an amazing and sweet couple! I will be recommending them to everyone !!! I cannot thank them enough !!

At first, I wasn't planning to hire a Day of Coordinator to save on expenses, but working with Katlynne and Chris was the best decision ever. I cannot even start to explain how easy the process was. The communication and instructions leading up to the wedding were smooth and straightforward. Katlynne was so kind and helped me through all my questions and concerns. On the day of the wedding, Katlynne and Chris were the perfect blend of being flexible while staying on schedule. They are also really friendly and social, so it did not feel awkward at all. Everything was perfect, and they brought my vision to life, but made it even better. They are amazing at delivering the big picture and equally amazing at the fine details. For example, placing a cool beverage dispenser by the outdoor ceremony for the guests, as it was a warm afternoon. From management to set up and tear down, it was literal perfection. I initially was so stressed with wedding planning but on the day, I found myself fully enjoying myself because I knew I could trust them to handle everything. My family could not stop raving about how much they loved Katlynne and Chris. I loved them so much, it makes me want to get married again and again and again (same husband at each wedding), and each time, I would definitely ask them to be my Day of Coordinator. They really are the best, and if you are looking for a DOC or are on the fence, I would highly recommend them.
